Today, I am here with photos from Kelsey and Tristan’s wedding, which was a memorable, adventurous affair sailing on the River Rose down the scenic Hudson River. I have to say, when I get hired for events like this, I feel pretty lucky to have the job I do. The day could not have been more perfect, cloudless, blue skies, a gorgeous sunset, and cool summer breezes. And a joyful couple, as well!
Because the wedding ceremony was actually on the boat, with the party immediately following, the couple asked me to meet them earlier to do a first look and some family portraits. The location chosen was Beacon’s Long Dock Park, right along the Hudson, fitting for their river wedding. I’ve never spent any time at this park, but I found it is just as unique as Kelsey and Tristan. And with winding paths, river views and golden sunlight, it did not disappoint.
During the ceremony I learned a bit about Kelsey and Tristan’s love story. These two have already been together over a decade, and they have a beautiful little girl named Harper. One thing they mentioned in their ceremony is how important humor and laughter are to their relationship. I couldn’t agree more. They are definitely a fun-loving couple. But what struck me most about this wedding was how truly, deeply happy they were in this long, awaited moment.
In each wedding post, I like to offer a wish for each couple. Kelsey and Tristan, as you embark on this next stage of your lives, I wish you continued joy and happiness in each other. I hope you continue to support each other in your new life as husband and wife, as you have already proven capable of in the past decade. And I wish you abundant love to pass on to that beautiful little girl, Harper.
I know Kelsey and Tristan are anxiously awaiting their sneak peek. So without further ado… The Schepers!
